Services

Post-quantum cryptography services

Five structured services — from cryptographic discovery through to ongoing quantum readiness monitoring — designed for regulated and data-intensive organisations.

Flagship

PQC Discovery & CBOM

Evidence-led visibility into where cryptography lives across your enterprise.

Before you can migrate to post-quantum cryptography, you need to know exactly what cryptographic assets you have, where they are, and what they protect. Most organisations have no single inventory of this — cryptographic algorithms, keys, certificates and protocols are scattered across networks, applications, infrastructure and third-party systems.

The PQC Discovery & CBOM service builds that inventory. Using a combination of active scanning, passive observation, configuration analysis and stakeholder interviews, Qontomcrypt produces an evidence-led Cryptographic Bill of Materials — a structured, machine-readable record of every cryptographic asset in scope.

Discovery scope

Network & TLS

TLS versions, cipher suites, certificate chains, protocol configurations across all network-facing services.

PKI

Certificate authorities, issuing CAs, certificate inventory, key lengths, expiry profiles and revocation infrastructure.

HSM & KMS

Hardware security modules, key management systems, key hierarchies, algorithm configurations and key lifecycle policies.

Data at rest

Encrypted storage, database encryption, backup encryption, archive protection and key association.

Applications

Application-layer cryptography, API authentication, token signing, session management and embedded libraries.

Code signing & document signing

Software signing pipelines, document signing workflows, timestamping authorities and signature verification chains.

Identity & authentication

Identity providers, MFA mechanisms, certificate-based authentication, SAML and OIDC configurations.

Devices & endpoints

Device certificates, endpoint authentication, firmware signing and IoT/OT cryptographic configurations.

Third parties & supply chain

Vendor-managed cryptography, API integrations, SaaS dependencies and supply-chain cryptographic exposure.

Backups & archives

Long-retention backup encryption, archive key management and data recovery cryptographic dependencies.

Output: Cryptographic Bill of Materials

The CBOM is a structured, evidence-led inventory of every cryptographic asset discovered in scope — formatted for use in risk assessment, migration planning and ongoing monitoring. It records algorithm, key length, certificate details, location, owner, data classification and quantum-vulnerability status for each asset.

Deliverables

  • Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) — structured, machine-readable
  • Discovery scope coverage report
  • Quantum-vulnerable asset summary
  • Certificate and key inventory with expiry profiles
  • Third-party and supply-chain cryptographic dependency map
  • Discovery methodology and evidence log

Assessment

Quantum Risk Assessment

A structured five-factor model that turns cryptographic exposure into prioritised action.

Knowing what cryptographic assets you have is only the first step. The Quantum Risk Assessment applies a structured scoring model to every asset in the CBOM — producing a defensible Priority Score and a clear P1–P4 migration sequence.

The assessment is built on five factors that together determine how urgently each cryptographic asset needs to be migrated. Each factor is scored 1–5 and combined into a weighted Priority Score from 0–100. The model is designed to be transparent, auditable and defensible — not a black-box risk rating.

Deliverables

  • Priority Score for every CBOM asset
  • P1–P4 migration tier assignments
  • Five-factor score breakdown per asset
  • Override log with documented rationale
  • Executive risk summary
  • Regulatory alignment notes (NESA, SAMA, RBI, DPDP Act)

Strategic

PQC Migration Roadmap

Wave-based remediation planning with clear ownership, dependencies and executive reporting.

A Priority Score tells you what to migrate first. The PQC Migration Roadmap tells you how — with a structured, wave-based remediation plan that accounts for dependencies, ownership, resource constraints and regulatory timelines.

The roadmap translates the Priority Score output into a sequenced migration programme. It identifies the systems, teams and vendors involved in each migration wave, maps cryptographic dependencies to avoid breaking changes, and produces the executive reporting needed to secure budget and board-level commitment.

Deliverables

  • Wave-based PQC migration roadmap
  • Crypto-agility design recommendations
  • System ownership and accountability map
  • Cryptographic dependency graph
  • Executive summary and board presentation
  • Regulatory timeline alignment (NESA, SAMA, RBI, DPDP Act)

Platform

PQC Data Protection Platform

Quantum-resistant protection for long-retention and high-value data at rest.

For organisations with long-lived, high-value data that cannot wait for a full enterprise migration programme, the PQC Data Protection Platform provides targeted quantum-resistant protection — deployed in your own environment, with encryption keys that never leave your control.

The platform applies NIST-standardised post-quantum algorithms to protect data at rest — prioritising the archives most at risk from harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks. It is designed for deployment in regulated, data-intensive environments where data residency, key custody and audit requirements are non-negotiable.

Deliverables

  • Platform deployment in customer environment
  • NIST PQC algorithm implementation (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA, FN-DSA)
  • Customer-held key management integration
  • Archival data protection prioritisation plan
  • Crypto-agility architecture documentation
  • Audit and compliance logging configuration

Ongoing

CBOM Monitoring & Quantum Readiness

Ongoing visibility into cryptographic assets, changing quantum risk and remediation progress.

Quantum risk is not static. The threat timeline evolves, new vulnerabilities are discovered, vendors update their cryptographic configurations, and migration programmes introduce new assets alongside legacy ones. Ongoing monitoring ensures your quantum readiness posture reflects the current state of your environment — not a point-in-time snapshot.

The CBOM Monitoring & Quantum Readiness service provides continuous visibility into your cryptographic estate — tracking changes, monitoring vendor readiness, measuring remediation progress and alerting on new quantum-vulnerable assets introduced through system changes or third-party updates.

Deliverables

  • Continuous CBOM monitoring and change alerting
  • Quarterly quantum readiness report
  • Vendor and supply-chain readiness tracker
  • Remediation progress dashboard
  • Priority Score re-assessment on material changes
  • Regulatory alignment updates (NESA, SAMA, RBI, DPDP Act)
